eWaste Collection April 24 and 25, 2026
Got old electronics? E-Waste Collection made possible by the Michgian Department of Enviroment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) in partnership with the Hillsdale Conservation District. The collection will take place at the Hillsdale County Fairgrounds, 115 S. Broad St, Hillsdale, MI. Bring old, broken, and unneeded electronics, small appliances and cables. NO large appliances like ovens, refrigerators, freezers, washers, or dryers.
Electonics will be accepted April 24, 2026 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EDT) and Saturday, April 25th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Noon). Drop off is free but donations are appreciated. Questions, please contact the Hillsdale Conservation District Office at 517-825-0162.
BOC Meeting Date Change
The April 28, 2026 Regular Meeting of the Hillsdale County Board of Commissioners has been changed to Monday, April 27, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in the County Office Building, 33 McCollum Street, Suite 210, Hillsdale, MI 49242.
May 5, 2026 Special Election
Voters in Hillsdale County who reside in the districts of Hillsdale Community Schools, North Adams-Jerome Public Schools, Reading Community Schools, Columbia School District, Hanover-Horton School District, or Quincy Community Schools will have ballot questions on a May 5, 2026 Special Election. All precincts within the aforementioned school districts will be open except voters in Woodbridge Township within Hillsdale Community Schools will vote in Cambria Township, voter in Woodbridge Township within Reading Community Schools will vote in Reading Township, and voters in Camden Township within Reading Community Schools will vote in Reading Township.
